Wandering the world… or just running from myself? 🌍 ✈️🧠

← Back

I’ve been to mountains, beaches, islands, dusty towns, and lush jungles. I’ve changed time zones more often than socks and checked in to more places than I’ve checked in with myself.

But here’s the problem: no matter where I go… I keep finding me there. 🙄

It’s like my backpack has an invisible version of me stuffed inside. I buy plane tickets hoping to escape, but I forgot that the one thing you can’t outrun on vacation… is your own head. 😅

Turns out, plane tickets don’t replace inner peace. You can be in Bali, but mentally still on a Zoom call. You can stand on top of an Alpine peak, but still be thinking about that unread email.

So next time you pack, take along a bit of silence, some stillness, and a willingness to sit with yourself. Maybe then, the trip will be what you thought it would be.

Oh, and one travel tip: stop looking for happiness in TripAdvisor reviews. They don’t have it either. If you do find it, please leave a review.
