21 Day Namibian Safari
Day 1
Guests will be met at the Windhoek International Airport and transferred to Waterberg Plato Park camp site through the town of Okahandja. Includes a visit to the woodcarvers market. Dinner and overnight in the park. Game drives available at the park.
Day 2 &3
After breakfast we will depart to Bushmenland, home to the bushmen who still lives and dresses according to their ancient old traditions. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. The next morning guests will have the opportunity to hunt with the traditional bushmen in the wild. /td>
Day 4 &5
After breakfast we will depart through the towns of Grootfontein and Tsumeb to the Etosha National Park. Camping at one of the camps in the park. Floodlit waterholes at the camps make it ideal for animal viewing at night. Game drives in the park to see various antelope as well as elephant, lion, rhino, giraffe etc.
Day 6
Today we will proceed to Oshakati in the far northern part of Namibia. Includes a visit to an “Ovambo kraal” to see yet another ethnic group’s way of living in Namibia. Overnight at Oshakati Country Lodge.
Day 7
After Breakfast we will depart to Ruacana on the far north eastern side of Namibia, driving alongside the Kunene river which forms the border between Namibia and Angola. Dinner and overnight at the Ruacana Eha Lodge.
Day 8 & 9
Today we drive towards Epupa and the Epupa falls. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 10
After breakfast, we will proceed to Orupembe camp site in Kaokoland. Wild elephant, giraffe and antelope to be seen on the way.
Day 11 & 12
We proceed to Puros for yet another night of camping in the wild. Rhino and desert elephant are some of the animals that can be seen.
Day 13
After breakfast, we will depart to Palmwag. The desert elephant to be seen on the way. Dinner and overnight at the camp site.
Day 14
After breakfast we will proceed to Xaragu Camp in Damaraland. Scenery and wildlife.
Day 15
After breakfast we proceed to the Brandberg, famous for the White Lady and other rock engravings. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 16 & 17
Today we will depart for Swakopmund, the historical German coastal town of Namibia. Various activities available eg. quadbiking in the dunes, paragliding, scenic flights over the desert and skeleton coast. Includes a visit to the moonlandscape and welwitschia mirabilis. Free time available to explore the town and it’s surroundings. (Activities are for client’s account) Dinner at the famous restaurants in Swakopmund. Overnight in a guest house.
Day 18 & 19
After an early breakfast, we depart to Sossusvlei via the town of Walvisbay, the only harbour town of Namibia. Crossing the tropic of Capricorn on the way. Dinner and overnight at Sesriem campsite. After an early morning coffee, we depart to Sossusvlei in time for sunrise, which is the best part of the day to see the changing colours of the desert as the sun rises. Excellent photographic opportunity. Breakfast at Dune 45 before we proceed to Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei itself.
Day 20
After breakfast we will depart to Windhoek through the Khomas Hochland. Overnight in a guest house. Dinner in one of Windhoek’s favourite restaurants.
Day 21
Guests will be transferred to the airport for departure.
